well, unless you live under a rock…i’m sure you’ve heard that the Indianapolis Colts are no longer winless, and the Green Bay Packers are no longer undefeated. yeppp, week 15 and it finally happened. thanks to the Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs, that is. who would’ve thought? If you go 13-0 and you’re going to lose in your undefeated season, it would probably sting a little less if you loss to a team with an over .500 record. before yesterday, KC was only 5-8…that’s a litttleee embarrassing if you ask me. you could’ve won to a decent team like New York (; i would’ve enjoyed that even more.
now onto the Colts’ first win…i’m happy were not going to go 0-16, not that i thought they would, honestly. we have way too much talent on our team to not win any games, no matter how much of a hot mess we look like this season. what sucks for the Titans, is before this week, their playoff hopes were still alive. they probably looked at the schedule and said, “Yeah, we’ll roll over them, they’re 0 and whatever…” rouuugghh isn’t it? okay, so if the Colts are smart, they will be totally okay if they lose the last 2 games. in fact, that would almost be best. St. Louis and Minnesota are both within one game of us, and I would really appreciate if we got the first draft pick of 2012…aka Andrew Luck (hopefully). Whether Peyton comes back or not, i would love to see him in a blue and white jersey.
I listened to a really interesting segment on Sunday Night Football last night, where they talked about how Aaron Rodgers sat behind Brett Favre for like 3 years I think, and when Favre left, Rodgers got to come into the spotlight. and look where he is now. SB45 winners and they went 13-0 this season…that’s pretty good if you ask me. I think we should draft Luck, and if Peyton comes back, its only going to be for a few years because he’s getting older in football years anyway. Peyton works as like a mentor for Andrew, Andrew learns the team’s playbook, and when Peyton retires, we’re set. (: that’s my plan.
As of right now, there are 4 teams that have already clinched their division. 2 in the AFC, 2 in the NFC. The Pats (shocker), the Texans, the Packers, and the 49ers. Houston finally lost their playoff virginity this season. yeah, they’ve never made it to the playoffs in franchise history. i found that pretty interesting. No one was surprised that Green Bay clinched their division, of course. I’m happily surprised with San Francisco actually. they’ve been bad for quite a while, its nice to see a new team in the playoffs.
so, that’s all i really care about this week (: playoffs will be here before we know it!
